Make Music & Meet New Friends during the Sharlathans Open Mic
Looking to expand your social circle in Barcelona? Whether you are a musician looking for a tight groove to play over, a singer who wants to feel the energy of a live band, or a music lover simply looking to meet new people and enjoy a great vibe, this is the place for you.
The Sharlathans are opening the stage to build a supportive musical community. Known for our unique vibrant fusion of Jazz, Flamenco, and Latin influences on Funk and Soul classics, we provide the strong foundation, you provide the spark. This is not just a concert, it is a social experience where we get together, socialize, and grow the Barcelona creative scene as friends.
How it works
The Backline: We provide the sound, space, energy, cajón, guitar, and microphones. Bring your instrument, your voice, or just your best smile to connect with us and others, on and off stage.
The Set: We start with a short set by The Sharlathans to set the mood, then the stage belongs to the community. Come and enjoy the live music.
The Genre: Funk, Soul, Rock, Pop, and everything in between.

Trae tu instrumento, tu voz o simplemente tu mejor sonrisa para conectar con nosotros y con otras personas, dentro y fuera del escenario.El Set: Empezamos con un set corto de The Sharlathans para crear el ambiente y después el escenario es de la comunidad. Ven a disfrutar de la música en directo.

This is your room.New In Town: Barcelona is the city’s weekly English-language comedy night for expats, immigrants, travelers, and curious locals who want to laugh, meet people, and feel instantly at home.
Every Saturday night we take over the candle-lit secret basement of Nomad House, one of Barcelona’s newest international hangouts, for a high-energy comedy experience you won’t find anywhere else in the city.
Your hosts are:
Sid Singh (BBC, Comedy Central, Edinburgh Fringe) and
Harris Fellman (Spain’s Got Talent, iUmor, TVE, HGTV).
Together they curate a fresh lineup every week featuring some of the best English-speaking comedians in Europe — including performers you may recognize from Netflix, television, festivals, and viral social clips.
Expect smart stand-up, big laughs, playful crowd-work, surprising moments of magic, and a room full of people just like you — new to Barcelona, open to connection, and ready to have a great night out.
