Come and chat to others who relate to losing a loved one. Everyone is welcome, no matter who you lost and when you lost them.
This session is hosted by Emily, who is a trained Untangle Support Session Leader.
What to expect:
- A validating virtual hug
- Feel less alone (and more normal) by talking to people who relate
- Meet people who actually understand how it feels, no need to explain yourself
- An judgement free place to talk through grief - the funny, jealous, numb, guilty, angry, overwhelming, guilty etc
- No topic is off limits
How the session works:
- This group is structured so that it's a gentle and safe space.
- Emily will welcome anyone who is new, and support you throughout the session.
- We start the session with introductions, then share anything that's on our mind, respond to each other, and end with some reflection.
- There is no pressure to talk, you can share as much or as little as you would like, or simply listen.
- You are welcome to keep your camera off (but we prefer people to turn them on so it feels friendlier).
About the host:
Emily started @UntangleGrief after her grandpa Harold died. The grief made her feel overwhelmed and lonely, she wanted a place to connect with others going through the same thing. She loves rewatching period dramas, bread and cheese!
