========== FACTS ==========
ROUTE: Rheinsberg > Lindow > Oranienburg
LEVEL: Intermediate to Experienced
DISTANCE: 60ish kms
MEETING POINT: 09:30 in Front of Seehof Rheinsberg
========== FACTS ==========
========= DETAILS =========
ROUTE:
After a very lovely evening with delicious food and good company we have a relaxed start at 09:30.
In opposite to previous tours we don't take the solid boring cycling road but heading down south through the forrest to the Süße Ecke in Lindow for the first (or second) coffee & cake.
If the weather and mood permits we can have a swim in the Wutzsee, close to Lindow.
From there it is more or less straight to Glambeck and shortly before Löwenberg we can decide if we go the more green and quiet route passing Neuendorf or straight to Oranienburg on the fast Cycling Autobahn alongside the B96
Since there is no certain train to catch we have all the time in the world to cycle back! This should be a very relaxed tour home.
SPEED:
Leisurely around 14 km/h, at least if the wind doesn't come from the front.
This is like "Being able to see the details on the side of the road and enjoying the view in general… and have a chat."
DISTANCE AND TERRAIN:
This is an about 60ish km ride, with mainly solid but also some forrest or soft ground.
In general: Bikes with thin tyres (Race bikes, Road bikes, Fixies), rented bikes (Uber, Swapfiets) or any special bikes (Folding bikes, BMX etc.) are not suitable! You won't have fun, trust me!
And if you want to bring Kids or Animals please get in touch before!
MEETING POINT:
09:30 in Front of Seehof Rheinsberg
WAY OUT:
There is no way out since we're already there.
WAY BACK:
Any S-Bahn or train from Oranienburg.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
While we'll stop somewhere for a coffee and a cake please always bring your snacks but especially some drinks along!
Communication is taking place in the WA channel. Join here:
https://hub.keinezeitfuerarbeit.de/join-community
And, PLEASE make sure your bike is in a proper state! Check your tyre pressure and oil the chain! Does your light work?
Having a toolset is highly recommended and a spare inner tube to fix a flat tyre a big plus! While we might be able to help in some circumstances please think about what happens if we can't! Thank you!
Bringing special equipment (Helmet, safety vest etc.) is NOT required but welcome if you feel more safe using it.
Last but not least: In case you need special medical treatment please make me aware of that upfront. Even if everyone is responsible for themselves I'd like to be able to handle it if necessary.
