Juneteenth Celebration

Details

Join us for a celebration of American movements and people who have changed the landscape of liberation and freedom as we know it. From the Civil War, to Black Women’s Liberation movements, and more. Light refreshments and craft project provided. See you there!
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, at the end of the Civil War, Union soldiers arrived in Texas to free all remaining slaves in the state.
