Celebrate the end of Adult Summer Reading with a special edition Reader’s Retreat!
This laid-back gathering helps you carve out time to read without interruptions from daily life, and lets you enjoy the company of fellow book lovers… without the pressure of deadlines or discussions.
We’ll start with 30 minutes of social time where you can discuss your current read, share recommendations, or simply chat about your love for books. Enjoy ice cream, mocktails, and extras unlocked by reading teams!
Then, find a cozy spot anywhere in the library for 40 minutes of quiet reading.
Finally, we’ll end with a 20 minute wrap-up and award the top reader prizes.
Everything is entirely optional. There are no assigned readings or attendance requirements. If you prefer to keep the silence or leave early, that’s perfectly fine!
