Led by Alex, a certified pilgrimage guide, we offer pilgrimages in and around Berlin and Brandenburg. These guided hikes combine physical activity with time for inner reflection, shared silence, meaningful conversation, and connection to the natural world.

Pilgrimage Hike: Around Lehnitzsee (16 km) – Listening Beneath the Noise
S Oranienburg, Q63X+X4 Oranienburg, Oranienburg, DEThis pilgrimage hike invites us to step out of everyday noise and practice attentive walking. Moving along water, forest paths, and forgotten places, we create space for silence, listening, and noticing what is usually overlooked.

- Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
- Start: 9:43 AM at Oranienburg Train Station
(Travel via RE6 from Berlin Gesundbrunnen at 9:23 AM; arrival also possible via RE5 or S1) - Duration: Approx. 5–6 hours
- End: Lehnitz Train Station
(S1 back to Berlin every 20 minutes; return from Oranienburg also possible)

🤔 Why This Hike?
Listening and silence are essential when we want to orient ourselves for a new year. This pilgrimage invites reflection on questions such as:
- What do I actually perceive when things become quiet?
- What usually gets lost beneath daily distractions?
- Can I allow silence without immediately filling it?
There is no pressure to perform, achieve, or “optimize” anything. We simply walk – attentive, open, and together.
This pilgrimage is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with nature, and reflect on life’s important questions. We’ll walk at a relaxed pace, share thoughts, and take time for moments of silence – about 30 minutes to an hour– to listen to nature and our inner voices.
🔔 What to know & bring
- It’s winter, dress for the season and the weather. Important: hiking or running shoes, warm layered clothing, hat and gloves.
- Bring enough food and water for the whole day, as we won’t stop anywhere to buy snacks or drinks. A thermos with hot tea or coffee is highly recommended!
- Don’t forget your public transport ticket for the way there and back.
- There may be an option for a quick winter dip. If you’d like to try it, bring swimwear, a towel and extra clothes to warm up afterwards.

Pilgrimage Hike: Dahlewitz to Blankenfelde (13 km) – The Way of Letting Go
Dahlewitz railway station, Blankenfelde-Mahlow, BB, DEThis pilgrimage hike follows the Baruther Linie regional trail, leading us from Dahlewitz through heathland and villages to the shores of Rangsdorf Lake. It is a gentle, reflective walk about simplicity, honesty with ourselves, and exploring what we might need less of.

- Start: 10:04 AM at Dahlewitz Train Station
(Travel via RE8 from Berlin Hbf at 9:38 AM – also stops at Potsdamer Platz and Südkreuz) - Duration: Approx. 4–5 hours
- End: Blankenfelde Train Station
(Frequent return connections via RE8, RB24, or S2 every 5–10 minutes)

In the week following this hike, Lent and Ramadan begin – two traditions that remind us of the value of conscious restraint and simplicity. This pilgrimage invites reflection on questions such as:
- What does “letting go” mean for me right now?
- What habits, thoughts, or expectations might I need less of?
- What becomes possible when I create space?
No religious background is required. The walk is open to people of all beliefs and none.

Bahnhof Joachimsthal, Bahnhofstr. 3, Joachimsthal, DEThis pilgrimage hike leads us through lakes, forests, and quiet villages around Lake Grimnitzsee. As we walk, we explore the question: What is weighing me down – and what creates inner freedom?

Pilgrimage on the Costa Brava, Spain: Two Weeks Walking by the Sea
Portbou, Girona, ESNeed a break from everyday life? Longing for peace, nature, and real conversation?
Join us this April on the Camí de Ronda, the historic coastal path of the Costa Brava, from Portbou to Blanes, covering around 200 km across 11 stages.

We will spend time together, receive daily reflections inspired by the Bible and other spiritual resources, discuss and share experiences, enjoy silence, and simply be.
- Each day involves several hours of walking, offering both physical activity and time for reflection.
- We stay in hostels or apartments – nothing luxurious, but comfortable enough to rest and recharge.
- The journey is not about athletic achievement; it’s about exploring your inner path and supporting each other along the way.
- Pilgrimages like this are especially valuable in times of challenge or transition, offering fresh perspectives and orientation.
What to Expect
- Walking along the Costa Brava: cliffs, coves, beaches, nature reserves, small towns, cities, and inspiring spiritual sites such as monasteries, Roman ruins, and churches.
- New perspectives and meaningful exchange through daily reflections for mind and heart.
- Time to reflect, laugh, be silent, and simply be.
- A small group of like-minded adults.
The focus is on providing clarity and guidance – whatever your spiritual or religious background.
Who This Is For
This pilgrimage is for those who:
- Seek nature and calm instead of a social-media overload.
- Enjoy community without peer pressure.
- Desire depth rather than a superficial tourist experience
- Are physically fit enough for 15–25 km per day.
Travel & Practical Information
- Dates: 12–25 April 2026
- Start: Portbou | Finish: Blanes (Komoot tour)
- Travel: Fly to Barcelona, then train to Portbou; return train from Blanes to Barcelona and flight home
- Total price: €1,500. This covers flights & trains (arrival and departure), accommodation, possible entrance fees, as well as planning, preparation, daily guidance and spiritual reflection.
If the full amount is difficult for you to cover, a limited support fund is available. Feel free to contact me in confidence.
Meals on site are paid individually, though breakfast is included in some accommodations.
