What we’re about
Hello World!
Finally, we're happy to bring this meetup group to life!!! Over the past months, we have connected people for different social meetups in Berlin, usually in small groups of about 10 people - because we believe deeper connections are more likely to occur in smaller groups. Sometimes we also host and showcase larger events and experiences.
Our primary goal however, is to connect people over exciting experiences! If that's what you're looking for, read along!;)
Who should join?
Whether you're new to Berlin or have lived here for a long time, all persons are welcome! We will showcase opportunities for hangouts from regular evenings in a bar to group trips, going for concerts together or joining a host dinner experience. So if you're someone who's looking to meet people over different experiences or looking for people to simply do exciting activities with, you're at the right place. Sometimes we host our own themed experiences as well, so be on the look out!
How to Join?
All our hangouts are usually hosted via the CLIQup app and you will be able to interact with others attending the specific hangout you joined via a group chat on CLIQup. Please find the link to download here and you can find us on IG @cliqupsocial.
We regularly share these plans on Meetup, sometimes with a joining fee required - this is how we keep the group running and help to curate the best experience.
If you have any questions or feedback for us, do not hesitate to reach out:)
Welcome and have fun!

Berlin presents its most colourful side during the Carnival of Cultures. Numerous groups of the most diverse nationalities present music, dance, performance, visual arts and acrobatics at a parade of moving floats. Every year in spring, the Carnival of Cultures celebrates cultural diversity in Berlin. Costumes, dance, music, rituals - the carnival is a great opportunity for members of Berlin's ethnic groups to make their cultures visible and for everybody else to see and celebrate cultural diversity. Street Parade on Sunday 📍
Highlight of the Carnval of Cultures is usually the street parade on Pentecost Sunday in Kreuzberg where thousands of dancers, musicians and artists perform and about half a million people from all over the world line the streets. The parade starts at the corner of Gneisenaustraße and Zossenerstr. moving through Hasenheide towards Hermannplatz in Neukölln.
