Headliner: Mina Liccione (USA/DUB)
Mina Liccione is a multi-award-winning performing artist and comedian hailing from New York. She’s been seen on Broadway in STOMP, Comedy Central Presents…, MBC’s Stand-up Sketch Show, MTV’s The Grind and Ridiculousness. She’s performed with renowned comedians Bassem Youssef, Gabriel Iglesia, Russel Peters and more.
Her highly acclaimed one-woman-show “Growing Up Ringside” received rave reviews internationally including 5-stars at both the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals.
In 2008, she co-founded Dubomedy Arts with her husband Ali Al Sayed which is home to the Region’s first Comedy School and all-female troupe; Funny Girls. She’s been coined “The UAE’s Queen of Comedy” and is extremely passionate about using comedy as a tool to break stereotypes and bring together people from diverse backgrounds.! !
