Repro Havdalah - Humanistically

Details
So much to do - Repro Havdalah, blanket collection and a celebration.
First, a brief Havdalah ceremony will thoughtfully end Shabbat. But what is "Repro Havdalah?" you ask. We'll share updated information regarding this Jewish initiative sweeping the country to address reproductive health and the legal actions which threaten it. Materials from the National Council of Jewish Women will be presented.
Before the event, we suggest watching the 23 min. PBS film "Under G-D".
If you have a blanket (homemade or store bought) to donate to local non-profit HomeAhead. https://www.homeahead.net/ please bring it. These "Welcome Blankets" will be distributed to folks transitioning out of homelessness. We created a few at our last event. Thank you to all who contributed.
We will also have a special little birthday celebration. So come socialize, meet some new folks and brainstorm ideas for future Beth Ami events.
This is a free event, but we gladly accept contributions to Beth Ami!
All ages welcomed!
Tea and cake provided!

Beth Ami is the only Humanistic Jewish congregation in Colorado and is a proud affiliate of the Society for Humanistic Judaism. We celebrate Jewish holidays, learning and life cycle events through the secular lens of history, culture, and reason. We believe in the human capacity to create a better world without supernatural intervention.
Beth Ami is a welcoming community where we connect to Jewish past, celebrate Jewish present and link to Jewish future through a humanistic philosophy. We encourage anyone interested in learning about Humanistic Judaism to attend this and all our events.
