What we’re about
As the group name suggests, most all our hikes take place in the Bethpage State Park area. Most hikes are of the moderate (M) variety which suggests 2 to 4 miles with some inclines (declines) involved. There will be hikes midweek and on weekends with no hiking in temps below wind chills of 38 degrees. We are not speed walkers so a 20 to 25 minute mile is the pace expected. Also at least one hike a month is expected of our members but not required. There are well over 100 routes that meander and intersect each other in Bethpage Park so there’s no shortage hiking events for our group. Hope you’ll join us.
