If you have just moved to Bolivia, this dinner is for you.

Friday night we are taking a few tables at Brasargent Rodizio in Patio Design to welcome the people who have recently landed. Brazilian style rodizio, so the meat keeps coming to the table until you turn your card over, with a full salad and sides buffet if you want to pace yourself.

Arriving somewhere new is a strange few months. You are sorting out paperwork, working out which neighbourhood suits you, learning where to buy things, and doing most of it without the people you would normally ask. This dinner exists to shorten that and welcome you to our BetterLife community.

You get to meet, in one evening, the people who went through it before you and still remember exactly how it felt.

So come if you arrived last week, or last month, or you are still deciding whether Bolivia is the move. And come if you have been here for years, because you are the reason this works.

What you need to know

• Friday 4 September, 7:00 PM. Come a few minutes early if you want a good seat.
• Brasargent Rodizio, Patio Design.
• Everyone pays their own bill. The rodizio is a fixed price per person, drinks are separate.
• English and Spanish both fly around the table all night. Neither one has to be good, and nobody will mind which you use.
• Bring your partner, bring a friend, bring the person from your building who also just arrived.
• Please RSVP so we can reserve the right number of seats, and update it if your plans change. That really helps us organize.

We will be the big table. If you cannot spot us, send a message here and someone will come and find you.
