BETWEEN THE LINES BOOK CLUB
REAL CONVERSATIONS
OUR APPROACH
1. This is not just a book club
2. It is a time and place where we can also share things going on in our lives. Real conversations.
3. The books will be thought provoking. Not philosophy; Not trash.
4. We don’t fix people or situations, but listen hard and support.
5. It is confidential
6. The session will be lightly lead /moderated (by me)
7. It is not a drinking club (But some alcohol is fine)
8. We respect and give each other time and space
9. No pretence or posturing. Work does not define us.
10. It won’t be for everybody
LOGISTICS
1. Meet monthly (the same day of the same week, each month)
2. Each session will last for 1 ½ - 2 hours
3. It will be held in the same hotel each month in Mandurah, in a private space (To be advised)
4. I will meet for a coffee with each new member to answer any questions and make sure it is what we are both looking for.
5. First meeting date to be confirmed.
