About us
Welcome!
Nestled in the quiet town of West Elmira, New York, the Paranitya Narasimha Ashram and Temple is a spiritual hub for seekers across America, home to monastics and community members living a life of devotion.
This group is for anyone who wants to be part of that community. Sunday mornings are a sacred and uplifting time to visit, with abhishekam and arati accompanied by Vedic hymns and kirtan.
You're invited to perform parikrama and take darshan of over 3,000 Shaligrama Shilas, followed by prasadam offered to all.
Beyond Sundays, we gather for daily morning and evening prayers, monthly Satyanarayana Puja, OM Chanting circles, and the full calendar of festivals through the year, Krishna Janmashtami, Radha Ashtami, Diwali, Tulasi Vivaha, and more.
All are welcome, whether you come with faith or simple curiosity.
Overnight ashram stays are also available for anyone wanting a deeper visit.

After Sunday prayers and kirtan, we conclude with free prasadam and food distribution, lovingly offered to all.
