OM is the universal sound of creation, the highest and purest vibration that exists. When we practice OM Chanting, we practice padaseva bhakti—the expression of Divine Love and service to all beings.

As a collective, the group attunes to the Divine presence of OM, expanding their awareness and enabling one another to dive deeper into finding Divine Love within.

Benefits of OM Chanting include:

• Enhanced self-healing potential through the transformational power of OM.
• Creates a harmonious, peaceful environment and a unity between humans and nature within a 1 to 2-mile radius.
• The vibration of OM continues to resonate in the body, allowing you to share the good vibes wherever you go.
• Supports long-distance healing
• Transforms the aura into pure light
• Transforms negativity into positivity
• Enhances our hearing of the mystical Anahata (heart chakra) sounds

Housekeeping Items:

• While this event is free to participate, there is a suggested $25 donation to help support the venue. Nobody will be turned away if they are unable to donate. The Urban Ashram also offers monthly memberships, which will allow you to attend multiple events if you wish. Please see Tisse or The Urban Ashram website for more information.
• There are cushions and chairs available in the room for us to sit on, or if you prefer you can bring your own meditation cushion to sit on the floor.
• This will be an unplugged event. Please plan to turn off your phones and any other devices (or put them on silent/vibrate) and set them aside while we chant.
• We are not able to add people to the circle once we begin chanting, but if you should happen arrive after we have begun, please feel free to have a seat along the side and join us from there.
• Please do not leave the circle once we begin chanting as this will disrupt the positive flow of energy and distract those in attendance.
• Masks are not required, but if you feel more comfortable wearing one, by all means please do so. Depending on the number of people in attendance, you may be sitting very close to others, so please bear that in mind.
• If you are feeling in any way ill, please stay home, take of yourself, and join us another time.
