An Evening of Mantra Music Immersion with Madhava!

Join us for this very special Meditation and Kirtan Immersion. Coming back to the Bay Area is the world renowned Madhava's Kirtan Forever.

Kirtan (the Yoga of Sound Vibrations) unites us all.
There is no consideration of caste, creed, color or nation when the Divine Mantra invades our mind, body and soul. Together we access the sublime, spiritual energy as one, while remaining individuals.

Embark on this vocal journey through the sacred sounds of ancient India. Drawing from an unbroken tradition of Indian devotional singing, Madhava will introduce and lead us in the ancient practice of "Kirtan" (or chanting), the heart of devotional yoga. This practice of calling to the divine creates a bridge between the individual and the eternal, opening the heart and welcoming the spirit. Sometimes soft and meditative and sometimes loud and wildly rhythmic, Kirtan takes the participant on a deep emotional and musical journey through our mostly unexplored inner world. With solo performance and call-and-response group chanting, Madhava creates a space of invocation, prayer, and heartfelt expression.

No previous experience is needed. This is an exploration of the heart, independent of vocal or musical technique.

Madhava, who began playing music at age 5 and singing Kirtan at age 18, is considered one of the most influential figures in the global Kirtan scene. He is a life-long practitioner of Krishna Bhakti, steeped in training and the practice of Kirtanam in Vrindavan and Mayapur, India. His kirtans are a deep journey into the heart and soul. His Maha Mantra meditations journey from deep personal prayer to exuberant group ecstasy.
