As the days get longer and the weather warms, we welcome you to join us for the "pre-season" version of Jim Skaggs' often imitated never duplicated "11x11 Ride."

For those unfamiliar this is a ride where we prioritize community over speed, all staying together at a moderate pace, typically rolling in the 10-13 mph range for about 11 miles. Anyone with a good working bike and capable of this speed/distance is welcome, for this 'no drop' ride, starting from the Lake Bluff Metra parking lot at 6 pm.

We follow a mix of paved trails and back streets through Lake Bluff & Lake Forest, and rides frequently end with socializing afterwards, per the mood of the group. [Note: I will add an example route to this post shortly, but this is an estimate only, ride leader(s) may vary things slightly from week-to-week, occasionally even running the route in reverse!]

Hope you'll consider joining us. Any questions text (312) 439-5999.

Since this is a spring ride, checking Meetup the day of the event for any weather-related changes/cancellations is recommended. Note BCLC groups ride safe... bring a HELMET, appropriate LIGHTS, and attire suitable for the conditions. (Riders will be required to sign a waiver prior to the ride.)
