Trail Work in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland
Details
We're digging the New and Improved Castle Park Trail! We got a lot done on MLK Day, but it's far from finished. So we'll be going back to work on this gem of a trail in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland.
Orientation at 9 am. Wrapping up at 1 pm.
We'll be working on the bed of the trail and the connection to the existing trail below the steep section (AKA Skidrow).
Bring gloves, sturdy footwear, and a water bottle.
Tools and snacks provided.
Electronic Waiver for BTCEB and City of Oakland:
If you can please fill this out before you arrive and it will save some time and get us going sooner: https://esign.ottersign.com/p/bicycle-trails-council-of-the-east-bay/X8zxOyRSGD
We will enter the trail at the corner of Castle Drive and Holyrood Drive. Parking space is limited. Please be respectful of the neighbors and not block the spaces at the adjacent homes.
