Compression and Limiting Workshop

This workshop will deal with basic and advanced mixing concepts related to compression and limiting. By nature, other aspects of mixing will be discussed but the focus will be compression/limiting.

If you have a song that you would like me to demonstrate compression/limiting on, please bring a stereo mix MINUS the track (lead vocal, for example) you want me to work on and a separate stem of the track. I will do my best to work with each participant's sample as time permits.

This is part of a series of "test" workshops that will be presented in order to help establish the direction of the course. The cost of the workshops will be nominal during the testing period.

The cost of this workshop is $10 per person. The number of students is limited to 4. Please RSVP only if you can definitely make it.

NOTE: Refunds will not be offered for the Test Workshops.

Please arrive a little before 7pm so we can start promptly at 7pm. The workshop will end at 9pm.

This workshop will be repeated and scheduled at different times in order to give those with varying schedules an opportunity to attend.
