37th meetup - Mesosphere DC/OS and Apache Beam

Details

Another interesting meetup, but more from the infrastructural perspective this time: We'll get an introduction to DC/OS which Mesosphere released released into the open source only a few weeks ago (https://mesosphere.com/blog/2016/04/19/open-source-dcos/).

We are honoured to welcome some renowned speaker. Have a look at the agenda underneath!

And of course, a big thanks to Microsoft for hosting us, the drinks and sandwiches!

See you soon!

Introduction to Apache Beam (Kris Peeters, DataMinded)

Apache Beam is an open source, unified model and SDKs for defining and executing data processing workflows, and also data ingestion and integration flows, supporting Enterprise Integration Patterns and Domain Specific Languages. Dataflow pipelines simplify the mechanics of large-scale batch and streaming data processing and can run on a number of runtimes like Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Google Cloud Dataflow.
