Big Dogs. Big Fun. Big Community.

Big Dog Club – St Pete is the St. Petersburg and Pinellas County chapter of Big Dog Club USA. We bring big dogs and their people together through local pack walks, dog-friendly social gatherings, outdoor adventures, community events, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends.

Our group is centered in St. Pete and the surrounding communities of Pinellas County, including the nearby beaches. Events may take place throughout St. Petersburg, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, Sunset Beach, St. Pete Beach, Upham Beach, Clearwater, Clearwater Beach, Fort DeSoto and other welcoming locations across Pinellas County.

We welcome owners of large and extra-large dogs, including Cane Corsos, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Newfoundlands, Saint Bernards, large bully breeds, and big mixed-breed dogs. You do not need to own a dog to join—responsible big-dog fans are welcome too.

Pack Standards

Dogs must remain under their owner’s control and be appropriate for the specific event. Leashes are required unless an event is held in a lawful, designated off-leash area. Members are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and following all venue and organizer instructions.

Please keep sick dogs at home. Not every gathering will be appropriate for every dog, and organizers may ask a member and dog to leave if behavior becomes unsafe or seriously disruptive.
