What we’re about

A fun-loving group for all who share a love of bikes and beers of all sorts.

We love to taste and enjoy Colorado Craft beers. Our rides will usually include two or more local breweries from Longmont, Boulder, Denver and Colorado Springs. Our goal is to visit and taste all the best beer breweries in Colorado by bicycle.

Our rides are for beer tasting, socializing and a little pedaling to offset at least some of the calories we consume. We ride for fun and adventure not for speedy competition. BTW we eat and drink at the breweries and pubs, not while pedaling. Ride length varies some very short (less than 10 miles round trip) some up to 30+ miles.

Any and all bicycles are suitable for a Pedal and Pints ride. Cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, single speeders or road bikes, bring what you have. Most rides are fairly flat unless notated otherwise.

Feel free to suggest a PNP meetup route or brewery that you'd like to visit with the gang.

Hi Folks
Wanted to tell you to keep your calendars open for this years Cranksgiving ride, Saturday, November 15th Starting as usual at noon at Ratio.
If you are new to the group, or haven't joined us for Cranksgiving before, what it is is a Scavenger hunt style charity event where we ride around to area markets and grocery stores to buy food for the local food bank. We also stop at breweries and enjoy some beer too. It's our most popular event of the year!
We will get together at Ratio starting around noon and get antiquated, at about 12:45 I will ask everyone to form groups of 4 to 5 people. Once groups are figured out I will pass out a list of items to buy, and stores to go to. 15 minutes is given for groups to make a plan and then everyone starts at once. Plan on spending $20 or so on groceries, and bring a backpack/ Panniers or whatever to carry stuff in.
The ride will take about 3 hours.After you have completed your missions, we will meet up at Vine St. Pub for a celebratory beer, some food and award ceremony!
As always remember that you are responsible for your safety on these rides. Make sure your bike is roadworthy, know your limits and stay hydrated. You will want to have some lights on you or your bike as it will be dark when we finish, and of course wear a friggin helmet!
