Showcasing City Parks and Public Art

Details
This 8-mile loop ride is entirely paved and includes a few mild hills. We will regroup at various spots along the route to ensure no one is dropped. The ride will likely finish after sunset, so please bring your bike lights if you have them.
The ride out of Civic Center Park will begin by appreciating the grounds, mansion, and the surroundings. We will then ride to see an unusual piece: a scale model snow plow atop a soaring steel arc. From there, we'll go to the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood, including Pint Isreal Park and the Flow of Life and Blossom artworks around Mary Trumbo Park.
After crossing Rockville Pike, our next stop will be the 9/11 memorial in Courthouse Square Park and then, we'll pause in little-known Veterans Park, which includes ceremonial gates featuring stylized metal sculptures of U.S. service members.
