Join Rich and Ike on this ride around the east side of Tucson. We will meet at the "Dog Park" parking lot at Udall Park for a 6:30 AM departure. (The meeting location is the third left turn from the main (west) entrance off of Tanque Verde Rd.). Please, no ear buds on this ride. Our 38 mile ride will start by exiting the park on the west side and picking up the Pantano Bike Path. Once on the path we will begin the ride heading south and exit at Kenyan to OST to Saguaro Pk. and do the Picnic Loop. We will then take a quick restroom break at the Ramada before we head north on Freeman Rd. A left turn onto Speedway will take us over to Tangue Verde Loop. A right turn there will lead us over to Tangue Verde where we will turn right and cycle to the 49ers Country Club. A nice easy ride through the Country Club will lead us to Wentworth where we will turn left and ride over to Tanque Verde. Once on Tanque Verde we will make our way to Conastoga, Ft. Lowell, Melpomene, Limberlost, then a right onto Soldiers Trail. A left onto Roger Rd. will take us to Agua Caliente Park. After a short break at the Park we'll exit the park and head back to Soldiers Trail then onto Limberlost, Melpomene to Catalina Highway and back to Udall Park. Easy ride with great views of some of the Parks and mountains surrounding Tucson.
