Details

Ride Description:
This magical ride travels from Amado to Aravaca and back. The rolling hills offer unparalleled vistas of several mountain ranges, cattle country, and the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Sanctuary. Aravaca is an eclectic small town, population of 600, made up of artists, retirees, former hippies, ranchers, and folks just wanting to live off the grid.

We will start in two groups with the C+ riders starting several minutes before the B riders. Please join the group where you feel most comfortable.

Our turnaround point will be the Buenos Aires conservation area where there are picnic tables and bathrooms...but NO WATER. We generally stop for 15 minutes before heading back. If for some reason you do not make it to the turn-around before the group heads back, please turn around and return to Amado yourself.

Amado is about 35 minutes south of Tucson and although we have an early start, it is well worth the drive.
