Welcome to the First ride of TDT. This series will happen (almost) weekly and is designed to get you in shape, more or less, for the TDT 32 mile ride.

This ride is actually a choice of 10 or 20 miles, depending on your energy level. If you want to go 10 miles, there will be a turn-around point that is 180 degrees from the start.

Wheels Rolling at 0700 - Round trip is about 20 miles on flat roads. We'll go at a C- pace, averaging about 10-13 mph overall.

Arrive by 0645 and get our wheels rolling at 0700. Please remember to bring lots of water and hydrate before you leave the house.

  2. Be sure to have a cell phone and emergency contact number on you
  3. Make sure you are prepared to ride

Average Pace: 11- 13 mph for 20 miles on almost flat terrain

Bring:
• Appropriate food and fluids for about 2.0 hours of riding
• A tube and a way to inflate it. Make sure your bike is in good mechanical condition to start the ride
• Helmets must be worn at all times while riding. No ear buds!
Reminder: Please select GABA rides where you are confident that you can ride the posted distance and pace.
