Route Map

Ride Description:

A fairly easy 31 miles ride starting at Black Rock Coffee on Broadway. We’ll take Broadway to the Loop and head south until we get to Valencia. At Valencia we’ll head east until we get to Houghton where we’ll turn south.

The ride on Houghton will be until we cross the railway overpass where we’ll double back along a gravel road to the east end of the Houghton Extension. From there we’ll ride to the Ray Schoonover Trailhead for a rest break.

After the rest break we’ll ride back to Rita Road and turn north. There will be a quick right, then left turn on E Elderberry before the stoplight at Nexus. We’ll turn left at Nexus and Elderberry and use the light to cross Rita Road. There is a quick right turn almost immediately after crossing Rita which will take us back to The Loop and, eventually, back to Black Rock Coffee.

This is a C paced ride meaning the final average should be between 12-14 MPH, though the pace during the ride may exceed that occasionally. Riders should stay within sight of the main group.

Wheels rolling at the start time listed above. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to sign the ride waiver.
