February GABA Meeting - What's Great About Tandem Cycling

At our February meeting, Caren and Mike Bianco, owners of Adventures in Tandem cycle tours and Oro Valley residents, will be talking about what they love most – tandem cycling!
It’s likely you have seen a few tandem couples riding around Tucson and on the Loop. Have you ever thought about riding a tandem with your significant other? If so, Caren and Mike have all the information that you need to get started. And even if you haven’t actually thought about riding a tandem, you’ll still learn everything there is to know about tandem cycling.
Please join your fellow GABA members to hear Caren and Mike’s story (and feel free to bring guests). The meeting starts at 7:00 pm on February 12, 2026. But doors will open at 6:30 so you can come early and socialize with other GABA members.
NEW MEETING LOCATION
The presentation will be at our new location – the St Philips in the Hills Church, located at the NE corner of Campbell and River. It’s the same place as our January meeting, but in a different building at the church complex. For February we'll be in the East Murphey Gallery meeting room.
Note that this NOT St Phillips Plaza where you park for the Loop trail. Rather it’s on the north side of River Road. There are entrances off both Campbell and River.
Drive into the parking lot and try to park under or near the parking area that is covered with solar panels. From there, look to the southwest for GABA signs that will direct you to the building with the meeting room. Besides coming early to socialize, you might also want to come early in case you are delayed by any confusion about finding the new location.
