Ride Description:
We will turn right out of Michael Perry Park taking the Loop north to 29th St. We'll cross Pantano and take 29th St east to Old Spanish Trail which will take us out to Colossal Cave Park. The ride includes the optional short, steeper climb up to the parking lot (water and porta potties) for those who want to challenge themselves. Anyone not wanting to go up to the parking lot can relax and take a little rest break. We'll then exit the park via Colossal Cave Rd, turn left at the stop sign and enjoy a fast downhill to Mary Ann Cleveland where we will have a break & bathroom/water stop at the Safeway. Next, a left back onto MAC out to another left at the light at Atterbury Wash Way and through the neighborhood to a right onto Old Vail Rd, we'll take a left onto the the sidewalk connector over the bridge on Houghton and left onto the Loop to Rita Rd. Rita Rd connector will take us back to the Loop at Nexus Rd which will return us to Michael Perry Park.
This is a C to C+ paced ride meaning the final average should be between 13-15 MPH, though the pace during the ride may exceed that at times. Riders should stay within sight of the main group unless told otherwise.
Wheels rolling at the start time listed above. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand to sign the ride waiver.
