Union City BART Bike PPoT Site survey

Join BART representatives for a site survey at the Union City BART station for the Bicycle Preferred Path of Travel (PPoT) program.

The BART Bicycle Preferred Path of Travel Capital Plan will identify opportunities to improve bicycle access to BART stations, with plans that are unique to each station. The Plan will support BART’s goal of developing clear, dedicated routes for people arriving at and leaving from BART stations by bicycle.

The agenda for the station visit is as follows:

• 9:00-9:15 Introductions
• 9:15-9:30 Station Context and Discussion
• 9:30-10:00 Station and Bike Parking Tour
• 10:00-10:30 Site Survey and Cyclist Observation
• 10:30-11:00 Debrief

The project team will have a bike on hand for test rides as needed.
