Bike the Mike Castle Trail

We will ride from the Biddle Point Trailhead to Schaeffers Canal House in Chesapeake City. We will eat at Schaeffers before riding back. It will be a little over 24 miles round trip. But it will be an easy level ride on paved surface. Since the ride is one way and the same way back, anyone is welcome to ride any distance they desire by turning around at any location. After returning to our cars, we have the option of riding the other direction to Delaware City, not too far past our starting point plus a good ice cream stand and views of the bay!! Directions to Biddle Point Trailhead : Take I95 in Delaware to Route 1. Take Route 1 south. Get off exit 152 ( Route 72 ). Take 72 east a short distance to Route 13. Take Route 13 south. Follow Route 13 south until you get to Cox Neck Road. Make a left on Cox Neck Road. Follow this until you will make a right at a sign for the C&D Canal Wildlife Area. This right turn will take you to the Biddle Point Trailhead parking lot.
