Bike the D&H Trail

Richard Nester and I have been thinking of riding the D&H Rail Trail from Simpson, PA to the New York State border. We would do it in two 38-mile round-trip segments on Friday and Saturday. On Friday we'll ride 19 miles north from Simpson to Thompson with lunch at the Thompson Cafe

and then return to Simpson. On Saturday we'll ride from the Starrucca trailhead to the New York State border and back with a detour for lunch in Susquehanna.

So far Richard, I and Mark Neely are staying in the Hilton Spark in Clarks Summit, PA. The room rate is $100 a night and they say they have a buffet breakfast. You are free to stay anywhere you like. We'll arrange to have dinners together at the end of each day.
