Biking Walking Sightseeing Tour

Event Details :
Kick off your Saturday evening with a relaxing bike ride! We will be catching the gorgeous sunset at the famous Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Seaside, grabbing a delicious dinner together, and wrapping up the night with a scenic ride over to the Gold Coast. (*Photo Album Location reference)

The Route: Long Ping MTR ➔ Shan Pui River ➔ Sunset@Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Coastal Road ➔ Dinner (around $180稻香Tao Heung ) ➔ Gold Coast.

meeting point Long Ping MTR (Concourse level) exit B.
The route is mostly on proper city bike tracks, with small sections on footpaths or quiet roads with little traffic. Even though we are riding in the city, if you can please bring your own bike lights (a front bike light and a rear red light).

Bike Type: We will be using shared bikes for this trip (Rental: HelloBike or LocoBike).

​Note: Hellobike is recommended!
Their bikes are newer, safer, and feature automatic front and rear lights that turn on from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (as shown making it much safer for our night session.

Difficult level: 4 Stars,
*No waiting in this tour. Please make sure you know the way back if you get lost.

Total biking distance: around 70 Km
You need to be able to bike at 20 Km/hour on flat roads.
You need to be experienced in biking on roads with cars.
You must wear a helmet.
This is a road biking tour that we'll see rivers, fish ponds, farms, villages, historic buildings and also the border to Shenzhen. There are some uphill slope in the trip.

We'll bike start near Yuen Long MTR station to visit Sheung Shui (上水), Ta Kwu Ling (打鼓嶺),Wun Chuen Sin Kwoon(雲泉仙館), Lok Ma Chau(落馬洲), Kwu Tung (古洞), Kam Tin (錦田). It's easy to visit these country areas on bicycles on the roads with a few cars passing.

• You can rent a good mountain bike at about $50 for one day or bring your own bike.
  *Road bike is good for this trip.

No helmet can be rented. You can buy one in the bike shop.
**Please have breakfast before meeting at the bike shop， we may have early lunch at that day !!**

We'll swim from Deep water Bay to Repulse Bay. It's about 2 Km. You can swim 1 Km and then walk to Repulse Bay.

Starting at Ocean Park MTR station, we’ll walk along the coast to Deep Water Bay. From there we’ll swim to Repulse Bay.
You need to bring a Floating Aid (ref in photo album) . I suggest the kind of waterproof bag for water sports . You need to keep all your belongings inside the bag and swim with it.

We can enjoy some drinks and food in a shopping mall in Repulse Bay for an early lunch.

Floating aid (Must), goggles, sunscreen.
