Exploratory Ride: GO Park Sai Sha & Three Fathoms Cove (企嶺下海) + Dinner

Meeting Point: Shatin MTR Station, Exit A1 (Lobby)

Important note: You must bring your own bike front and rear lights, otherwise you won't be able to join the activity because we will be cycling in the dark.

Kick off your Saturday afternoon with a picturesque ride toward Sai Sha! We will cruise along the coast, visit the Wu Kai Sha Pier and the GO Park Sai Sha, take in the stunning natural scenery at Tseng Tau Tsuen (井頭村) and Three Fathoms Cove (企嶺下海 / Kei Ling Ha), and head back toward Shatin. We’ll stop by Yuen Wo Road Sports Centre for changing / optional showering before enjoying a group dinner together!

Since this is an exploratory ride, we might need to find our way or look at maps along the way. Please only join if you don’t mind a bit of exploring and finding roads.

The Route:
Shatin MTR Exit A1 ➔ Wu Kai Sha Pier (烏溪沙碼頭) ➔ GO Park Sai Sha ➔ Tseng Tau Tsuen (井頭村) ➔ Three Fathoms Cove / Kei Ling Ha (企嶺下海) / Optional : Sai Kung Town ➔ Yuen Wo Road Sports Centre (changing/shower facilities available) ➔ Dinner in Shatin (7:30)

Rider Requirements:

Speed: You need to be able to bike at 13 km/h on flat roads.
*** Bike Control: You need to have good bike control. The route consists mainly of proper bike tracks, but includes some narrow footpaths, dirt paths, and road sections with light traffic.

*** Bike Type & Logistics**
*We will be using shared bikes for this trip (Rental: HelloBike or LocoBike).

Shared Bike Logistics (Action Required Before You Arrive!)
To ensure we can start riding immediately, please download and set up your rental apps before arriving at the meeting point.

*** HelloBike : **Check the app for pricing options. (auto night bike lights & more complicated instructions requirements)

**Locobike : Buy a 24-hour Day Pass ($25) ahead of time. (Easy Requirements but No bike light with it)

*Make sure your account is ready and topped up so you can unlock a bike the moment we find one!

Essentials:A helmet, cycling gloves, mosquito repellent, water, bike lights, a change of clothes (optional for shower), and a great mood for a night ride!
