April 5 Danny Choriki “Bitcoin, Climate, & Broadview Data Center”
Join us for a clear, accessible look at how Bitcoin mining impacts energy use, carbon pollution, and why large “data centers” like the Broadview facility matter for Yellowstone County. We’ll break down what Bitcoin mining actually does, how it differs from normal data centers and AI computing, why these operations seek out cheap rural power, and what it means for our climate, our grid, and our community. This is a practical, plain-language session designed to help neighbors understand the technology, the risks, and the choices ahead.

April 12 Nia To Go There “Sharing the Wisdom of Ted Lasso, Part 1”

Our Quest community is committed to ecological, social, and spiritual healing, so we ask, what can we learn from Ted Lasso? Ted Lasso (an Apple TV original series) tackles topics ranging from divorce (the catalyst for Ted moving out of the country), parenting, teamwork, leadership, identity, revenge, LGBTQ, grief, mental health, and more. But it is all done the Ted Lasso way. Most of Ted’s lessons come in quippy quotes, obscure late ‘70s references, and famous role models. But it is delivered with positivity, sarcasm, and unending enthusiasm. We will watch snippets from Ted Lasso, Season 1 (17 minutes) and we will have open space conversations to share our insights within small groups and re-gather to share with the entire group. The BAH Board meets monthly after the second Sunday meeting to plan future events and other details of the organization.
