BIMPulse presents ... Skema AI (Irvine)
Details
Skema joins BIMPulse this October for a session on AI-assisted BIM workflows. Years of design decisions are sitting inside Revit models, details, and assemblies. Most of that knowledge never leaves the project it was built for. Skema's team will be showcasing how it can value to your workflows through proven design intelligence, accelerated through AI and computational power.
Expect a technical, hands-on look at real workflows and project examples.
Learning Objectives
- Identify how Skema captures design assemblies from a firm’s past projects without contributing that data to a shared or centralized AI training model, and recognize how the Design Catalog approach differs from Revit group-based reuse methods.
- Describe how Skema’s bidirectional Revit integration preserves parametric data, families, and metadata (not just geometry) while syncing design changes between the browser-based design environment and native Revit models, without the need for remodeling when moving from schematic to design development,
- Explain how Skema’s model federation and analytic model extend design workflows across phases by spatially organizing and coordinating multiple source models (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp, IFC) within a single project
- Recognize how maintaining data fidelity throughout the design process reduces the coordination errors and rework typically introduced by AI-generated or translated geometry.
- Recognize next steps for evaluating or piloting Skema, including ways to incorporate into existing workflows, how to assemble a project team, ideal typologies, and ways to define success.
