Goals

Get kids interested in biology and science.

Give hands-on experience in the laboratory setting. Learn about DNA and its importance to biology.

What we will be doing

This class is a repeat of our previous BioTech by Teen for Teens class. In this we will go over the basics of biology and biotechnology and then learn PCR and Gel Electrophesis and learn how to do these techniques in the lab.

No experience required - for middle & high school students ONLY

Cost: Free

Time: Noon to 3pm

Please make sure parents do not include themselves in the count for people attending; just how many students are attending.

*All attendees must tie long hair back and wear closed toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops in the lab).
