DIY Sous Vide: Cook perfect steaks and more with Arduino-inspired electronics!

Details
Build a magical box with Arduino inspired technology that will control the temperature of an appliance you hack up to 0.1 degrees accuracy.
All of the top restaurants in the world use sous vide machines to make make sure their proteins are perfect. It is a brilliant cooking strategy for so much more and it's been hailed as the next microwave.
(It's right before dinner time, and I went checked out our teacher's website (http://qandabe.com/2011/steak-au-poivre) and now I'm drooling. Keywords include: "Beer Bath Bratwurst (http://qandabe.com/2011/beer-bath-bratwurst)" and "60 Hour Sweet and Sticky Beef Ribs (http://qandabe.com/2011/60-hour-sweet-and-sticky-beef-ribs)"!! Q and Abe also taught an Ember class at NYC Resistor you can read about here (http://qandabe.com/2011/nyc-resistor-ember-class)!)
On Saturday October 15th, come and make your own sous vide machines with experienced food hackers, Q and Abe, from LowerEastKitchen.com (http://lowereastkitchen.com/), QandAbe.com (http://qandabe.com/), and MeatJacuzzi.com (http://meatjacuzzi.com/). In our class we will guide beginners from soldering to Arduino language and programming. Perfectly cooked snacks will be served.
Q and Abe are experts in the field of DIY Sous Vide and Open Source Technology. Their invention and foods have been featured on FoodGawker, CNN, Maker Faire, and TasteSpotting.
Time: 1 to 6 PM, Saturday, October 15th
Taught by: Q (writer) and Abe (plasma physicist)
Workshop fee: $115, Includes an Ember Kit ($80) to make your own "meat jacuzzi"
