❄️ Family-Friendly Winter Fun Agar Art – Painting w/ Microbes! 🎨

Details

Join Cellsius Bio Lab (55 Grace Street, San Francisco, CA 94103) for an exciting workshop focused on DIY just-for-fun biotechnology. We will be making colorful agar art with our engineered glowing microorganisms. Agar is the substrate on which microbes grow on.

In this workshop, you will draw out a picture on the petri dish using our microbes and after a few days, the colorful colonies will form and your art will be visible!

The theme is Winter and Christmas art, so draw christmas trees, snowmen, presents, and anything you can think of on the three petri dishes provided! ❄️ Our genetically engineered organisms can't leave the lab but we'll send you pictures of your art piece so you can appreciate the beauty of microorganisms.

This is a family-friendly event so we have tiered pricing!

Tickets are $40 per adult. $20 for youth 18 and under with valid student ID. Youth must be accompanied by their guardian. Venmo @ccl-plantbio. Message the organizer if you need an alternate payment method.

Unable to attend? Interested in other classes like plant genetic engineering, bacterial culture, microscopy? Join our mailing list to hear about upcoming workshops! http://eepurl.com/iXGV5Q
