Bundle Up and Bird
Kachina Wetlands
Sunday, February 8th
9 – 11 am

Bundle up and get acquainted with the wintering bird life of Kachina Wetlands—you might be surprised at the number of species out there, and you'll never know unless you go! Join Harry Jones, a highly skilled birder whose abundant knowledge on the habits and habitats of local birds will enrich your experience. Sponsored by Northern Arizona Audubon.

Meeting point: Meet at the parking lot to Kachina Wetlands at 9:00 am.

What to bring: Please bring binoculars if you have them; along with water, a hat, gloves, and sunscreen. The walk will be about two miles over flat terrain but could have residual snow, so boots are recommended. Dress warmly!

Directions: From Flagstaff, take I-17 south to the Kachina Village exit. Immediately turn right onto Tovar Trail and follow it for a mile to the end. Then, turn right into an unpaved parking area.

Any questions:
This trip will be cancelled in the event of a snowfall that occurs either the night before or the day of the walk. If in doubt, contact Harry at [hjones@birdpop.org](mailto:hjones@birdpop.org) or check the Meetup site.
