Join us for a new walk led by Tahoma Bird Alliance volunteer Tiffany Whitby! This walk will meet at Kobayashi Park and follow the trail along Chambers Creek and through Chamber's Creek Canyon, ending in Chambers Creek Wildlife Habitat. This canyon's water source and mature trees make it a haven for songbirds, with some of the older hollow trees and snags attracting owls and larger woodpeckers as well.

Park bathrooms are available at the Kobayashi Creek trailhead, there is also a port-a-potty at the top of the hill on Chambers Creek Rd W by 71st Ave Ct W.

The trail conditions are mostly flat from Kobayashi to Peach Creek. About 900ft from Peach Creek to the Chambers Creek trail is a more variable elevation change, and some steeper sections in the remaining 1.4 miles to the end of the trail around Chambers Creek Wildlife Habitat.

If you're using public transit, Kobayashi Park is a 5 minute walk from the 2 bus line.
