Beginner Birding - Whitaker Waterfowl Walk - We have Binoculars to Borrow!
Details
Join Seymore Gulls and the Birding for the People crew for a morning of birding around Whitaker Ponds.
There's gonna be ducks! Wecan look at them together!
Borrow a pair of our binoculars (we’ve got extras — even toddler-sized ones!) and come see what fall migration has in store. Along the way, Seymore will point out calls, share ID tips, and answer any questions about birds, birding, or photography.
This walk is beginner-friendly and open to all — whether you want to focus on birding by ear, test out your photo skills, or just enjoy a calm morning by the water.
In about TWO hours, we’ll likely spot around 25+ species — maybe more if the wind’s right!
