Beginner Birding w/ Seymore Gulls - Commonwealth lake!

- Join Seymore Gulls and the Birding for the People crew for a easy bird adventure as we look for ducks, geese, sparrows, red-winged blackbirds and more!
We'll point out different bird calls as we hear them, and answer any questions you have about bird watching and birds.
This tour is designed for beginners, but we welcome all levels of bird enthusiasts!
In two hours of birding we should see about 25 different species of birds.
Who's Invited:
Everyone! All ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome. If you’ve ever noticed a bird before, you’re ready to bird with us.
What to wear:
Dress in layers. Birding is a slow activity and people get cold! Imagine it's going to be colder than it really is (maybe bring rain boots?).
Optics:
Bring binoculars if you have them. If not, we’ve got plenty to share — including kid-friendly pairs. - Walking and trail conditions (incline, trail surface, etc.) Paved and flat
- Distance to be walked 1 mile
- Will toilets and drinking water be available? Yes toilets, no water.
- Cost: Donate what you like! The non-profit now has a bank account! Its a pay what you want/can scenario. Suggested donation amount: - cup of coffee to 9 seat electric van range.
