Join Julia (she/they) for a casual, beginner-friendly birding outing at Company Lake in Troutdale! This outing is designed as an affinity event for Queer, BIPOC, and/or Neurodivergent folks who want to spend time birding in a welcoming community space.

This will be a relaxed, social walk focused on enjoying birds together and collective knowledge sharing. Whether you're completely new to birding or have some experience, you're welcome to join.
Participants can expect to see 20–40 bird species depending on conditions. Possible sightings include lingering ducks and waterfowl, American Kestrels, returning swallows, Turkey Vultures, and maybe even Osprey.

The pace will be relaxed with multiple stops to look and listen for birds. This is a great outing for people interested in exploring birding in the Troutdale/Gresham area while connecting with others in community.
