Affinity Stewardship Work Party at Cornell Sanctuary

Join Bird Alliance of Oregon, Birding for the People, and FBC.PDX (Feminist Bird Club Portland) for a morning of community stewardship at Bird Alliance’s Cornell Sanctuary in Forest Park.

This event is an affinity space created to foster a welcoming, community-centered environment for people with historically marginalized identities, including people who identify as LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and disabled and chronically ill. This gathering is intended to create space to connect with one another, care for the land, and contribute to local conservation in an environment intentionally grounded in respect, belonging, accessibility, and community care. Supportive allies who understand and respect the purpose of the affinity space are warmly welcome.
