We have a little update to share!
After some thought, we've decided to move Birmingham Feminist Book Club away from Meetup and over to Heylo, a free community platform. So the book club isn't going anywhere!
Meetup has become increasingly expensive to maintain, and as a volunteer-run community, we'd rather keep things simple, accessible and sustainable without needing to collect donations just to cover platform fees.
Our name has changed slightly to better reflect what the group is. And of course, we'll continue organising the occasional film night, socials and other get-togethers too! 🎬📚
