Join us for a local leisurely-paced circular hike of approximately 9.1 miles (14.6 km) through Sherbrook Valley and the wider part Cannock Chase.

Expect a mix of woodland, heathland, and valley scenery, using mostly well-established hiking paths with a few narrower forest and heathland trails; the terrain is gentle to moderate, and we’ll keep a comfortable, leisurely pace with opportunities for wildlife spotting(hopefully!) and time to enjoy the Cannock Chase landscape.

Perfect for regular walkers and hikers who are comfortable with longer distances but prefer a steady, unhurried pace!

Meeting Point:
Cannock Chase Visitors Centre
A well-known and convenient starting point with parking and easy access to the trail network.
Please arrive at a good time so we can set off at 9:30

What to bring:
Walking boots or sturdy shoes (some paths can be uneven or muddy)
Water, snacks, and lunch
Weather-appropriate layers

This is a decent and inclusive hike — whether you come for the miles, the nature, or the company, you’ll be very welcome ! (Dog friendly too)

Possibly a pub straight after the walk for food and drinks, with the majority.

We will stop halfway through the walk for lunch too..

Any questions, drop us a message :-)
