Hello Bistro Buddies! Suzanne and I love the tacos here. I have the crispy beef and Suzanne has the soft shell. The jalapeño ranch dip that is served with the chips is amazing. We put it on our tacos as well! Join us, it will be a lot of fun! From their website: Chuy's opened on April 16, 1982 in an old, abandoned Texas Barbeque joint on iconic Barton Springs Road in Austin, TX. There was seating for about sixty, a women's restroom the size of a broom closet and a men's restroom that was, well, outside. Founders Mike Young and John Zapp had a vision of a fun and funky Tex-Mex restaurant that served authentic and fresh food in an atmosphere that appealed to everyone. From these humble beginnings Chuy's was born. www.chuys.com
This restaurant used to be the Riverwalk location of Bourbon Street Seafood Kitchen. The Bistro Buddies have used this location many times. Now, it is Roam & Range and we want to give it a try. Join us, it will be fun! From their site: Roam & Range delivers bold Cajun inspired cuisine with global flair, featuring steaks, seafood, and creative dishes in a refined yet welcoming setting. https://www.rrsariverwalk.com/roam-range
Suzanne and I ate here the other day...the food and atmosphere is really fun. Join us for some German food or something else from the menu. It will be fun and feel good! From their sight: With live entertainment, unique community events, 100+ beers, and an impressive German American menu, Krause’s is a local treasure. From schnitzels and bratwurst with sauerkraut to pretzels and potato soup, our menu offers a taste of Germany deep in the heart of the Lone Star State. This will be on their beautiful patio, weather permitting. We are going early enough to catch the early bird menu and happy hour. So if you’re still working, skip out early. It will be fun! From their site: Over the past few years La Hacienda has become a landmark of Tex-Mex cuisine in north San Antonio. Drawing upon award-winning recipes perfected by Viola Barrios, we offer a variety of home-style dishes. These dishes include slow cooked beef cortadillo, vegetarian fajitas and Tex-Mex Enchiladas. We make these dishes on the spot by using only the freshest ingredients, lots of love, and a passion for cooking. While we faithfully follow these tenets to create mouth-watering dishes, they are only part of the reason Los Barrios Family of restaurants has become loved throughout San Antonio. It is our unwavering commitment in following in our mother's footsteps by welcoming each and every guest into the Barrios family. https://www.lahaciendabarrios.com
