Ethereum Introduction Presentation by Taylor Gerring

Taylor Gerring, Director of Technology at Ethereum, will be giving a presentation introducing ethereum (http://ethereum.org): a "blockchain app platform." Whereas Bitcoin provides some limited ability to create "smart contracts," or applications that run on the blockchain, Ethereum provides a full programming language with unlimited potential. Digital currencies, autonomous agents and organizations, and many other systems are possible.

A list of some of the applications being developed can be seen here (http://dapps.ethercasts.com/), and includes everything from other currencies, to decentralized chat apps, to prediction markets.
