This event aims to advance the discussion of Bitcoin's scalability and governance roadmaps, by presenting the issues and breaking off to round table discussions.
We will discuss issues such as scalability, hard forks, block size, consensus, voting, cryptocurrency competition, Bitcoin Core vs. Bitcoin Classic, and more.
19:00-19:30 - Gathering and refreshments
19:30-20:15 - Short talks (Aviv Zohar, Ron Gross, Guy Corem, Nadav Ivgi, Adlai Chandrashekar, Meni Rosenfeld)
20:15-21:00 - Round table discussions (Moderators: Ron Gross, Guy Corem, Jonathan Klinger, Jonathan Rouach, Nadav Ivgi, Adlai Chandrashekar, Ayal Segev)
21:00-21:20 - Discussion summary
After a series of short talks, participants will split into groups, each having its own discussion about the roadmap. Each table will have a moderator who will compile a summary of the discussion. The summaries will later be used for creating a document giving a broad overview of the situation, to be shared worldwide.
Note: "Round Tables" is just a name. The tables will actually be rectangular.
The talks will be given in Hebrew. The discussions will be mostly in Hebrew but we can also have a table for English discussion.
We would like to start the lecture at 19:30 sharp, so please make an effort to arrive on time, taking traffic into account. From 19:00 you'll have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and socialize.
