Bitcoin is the world's first decentralized digital currency - just like the money we already know, only better. It is meant to create a new economy based on transparency, efficiency and personal empowerment.
In this talk, which opens the "Bitcoin Basics" series, we will give a general overview about the essence of Bitcoin, and touch such issues as - where did it come from, and where is it going? What does "decentralized digital currency" mean? What does it aspire to do, and how? What is the meaning of concepts such as mining and the blockchain?
The talk will be given in Hebrew.
